
Return policy
1. Warranty Period and Contents
All leather bags and wallets we offer for sale are covered by our company's 6-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
During this period, issues such as stitching coming undone, leather cracking, and manufacturing defects in zippers or metal accessories are covered under warranty.
Situations not covered by the warranty:
Improper use, exposure to water/liquids, contact with chemicals, leaving in excessive heat or direct sunlight,
The "patina" and surface variations that genuine leather naturally acquires over time.
Products repaired or replaced under warranty undergo a preliminary inspection by our expert team, and the results are finalized with a detailed report.
2. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
According to the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, you have the right to return or exchange your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason.
Return acceptance conditions:
The product must be unused, in its original packaging intact, and in a condition suitable for resale.
The e-invoice/invoice or order confirmation document must be presented during the transaction.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized products (with names, custom sizes, monograms, etc.).
3. Return and Exchange Procedure
To request a return or exchange, please send an email to bmlhandcraft@gmail.com.
After we receive the product, the necessary checks will be carried out within a maximum of 3 business days. For orders where the return is approved, the refund will be processed within 5 business days, using your original payment method. However, it may take up to 15 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank's processes. If this period is exceeded, we recommend contacting your bank.
Shipping Fees:
If the product is defective, we will cover the shipping costs for the return and exchange process.
If the product is not defective (return due to personal preference), the customer is responsible for the shipping costs.
4. Reporting Defective Products
If you notice that the product is damaged or faulty upon delivery, have the delivery person prepare a damage report. Once the product is returned to us, our technical team will examine the situation; if approved, repair, replacement, or free exchange will be provided.
5. Exclusions from Warranty
The following situations are not included in the warranty assessment and are considered outside the scope of coverage:
Treatments using bleach, acidic or harsh surface cleaners,
Deformities caused by heat and humidity,
Tears, bruises, or scratches caused by physical factors such as impacts or falls,
Custom orders (design, monogram, etc.) are prepared for each individual.
6. Legal Remedies and Disputes
Consumers can exercise their right to return or exchange products within the 14-day legal withdrawal period. In case of any disputes, you can apply to the Consumer Arbitration Boards within the framework of the relevant laws.
